the photos of baby obama got just under 70,000 views. the photos of baby romney just over 6,000 views. that is worse than 10 to 1. okay, maybe it's a baby thing. how about if we age them a little. barack obama, i have to say, was not the world's most handsome teenager. those were kind of his awkward years, whereas mitt romney was quite possibly the world's best teenager. they both ended up as very handsome adult men, but they went through their awkward periods, their gawky periods at different ages. but even with that, again, the young man photos of barack obama get roughly 70,000 views. the comparable votes of young man mitt romney get less than 1/5 that number. this is not a republican versus democrat thing or a conservative versus liberal thing either. at the height of her powers, put sarah palin's click per headline stats up against any democrat you can imagine or any combination of democrats you can imagine and she would blow everybody out of the water. conservatives can attract interest. just not this one, for whatever reason. the

here is what it was when barack obama took office. in 2009, in the midst of the worst economic free fall since the great depression. then here is the deficit in 2010. and here it is for the next year, and here it is for last year. yep. and here is the track for this year. yeah, see how it's spiraling out of control? see how much it's growing? higher and higher all the time. yeah, no. actually, down is not up. night is not day, and the deficit is getting smaller. it's dropped by hundreds of billions of dollars during barack obama's presidency. we are currently experiencing the fastest deficit reduction in several generations, and nobody knows it. we're in the midst of a major national crisis, self-imposed, brought on by fear and loathing and worry and outrage over the supposed state of the deficit, and 90% of the country is wrong about what the state of the deficit is. i'm not saying 90% as a made-up rounded hyperbolic number. that's the actual number. look. bloomberg news just polled on this. is it your sense this year that the defici

well, this weekend president obama went to florida, played golf with some friends. also tiger woods, according to mr. woods, the president and him played as partners, and they beat whoever it was they were playing against. i do not know from golf. but even losing is probably fun if you are losing to, like, the greatest golfer ever, let alone playing alongside him as mr. president did. tiger woods said they had a great time. not having a great time the press. the white house press corps is very angry about this weekend. fuming, incredulous that the president was there golfing with tiger woods and they were not allowed to watch. the white house press corps was kept out completely from the golf outing. the only journalist who got to go in was somebody from golf digest. one abc reporter calling it a disgrace. a fox news reporter saying there was, quote, extreme frustration. the president must be fearful of talking with them, them meaning white house reporters. the beltway press is seriously frustrated by what they see as their lack of access to this white house. but out

tonight monday of president obama's inauguration, the first day president obama outlined this wide ranging liberal agenda for his second term, that same day there was a drone strike in yemen. and that drone strike on inauguration day followed drone strikes in yemen on both days of the weekend that preceded inauguration day. so we had drone strikes on saturday and on sunday and on monday, the monday the president was sworn in. it doesn't really make the news. one of the most unusual things about drone strikes for us as citizens in a country that does this is that for so long our country would not admit that we did them, even when we all knew that we did. that was the case. that did not change officially until april of last year. april 2012. and the person the administration put forth to do that, to admit that policy for the first time publicly was john brennan. >> so let me say it as simply as i can. yes, in full accordance with the law and in order to prevent terrorist attacks on the united states and to save american lives, the united states government conducts targeted strikes against sp
